TechExec on a break this week!

Hey there,

Thank you so much for your enormous support of this newsletter. You have been a great audience. I hate to miss this week, but the last six weeks have been incredibly busy for me. We moved into our new home, and it has been a rollercoaster ride as first-time home owners. We learned how to mow the lawn, figured out what switches turn on which light, and did lots of unpacking and packing. Our 1.5 year-old daughter started at her daycare, and boy, did it take her some time to adjust. Also, who knew daycare meant more sick days for everyone in the family!

To be fair, that meme is more relevant to US-based daycares, as it doesn’t cost much in Canada. However, the second part of the above tweet still stands.

And all these six weeks, I was still working for my daytime employer, sending out these newsletters, and launching my podcast.

Anyway, this was a very long-winded way to say that TechExec is off this week! I hope to come back fully recharged next week :)

BTW, is anyone here a fund manager who has raised money from LPs? I want to learn more, so please reach out!
